Each year, the Show grows more significant on the international boat show calendar and has established itself as the principal marketing platform in Asia for the global yachting industry.
We are proud to have an increasingly impressive display of major boat brands and their local or regional dealers at each Show. In 2019, we welcomed almost 90 stunning sail and power yachts and watercraft of all shapes and sizes, with a record number of 26 Asian premieres.
Singapore is strategically located right in the middle of ASEAN and exhibitors to the Show are well-positioned to connect with trade-buyers, retailers, importers and HNWIs. And, with new opportunities to purchase or charter yachts right on their doorstep, more and more affluent people from this wealthy region are poised to take the plunge and join the yachting community – a huge boost to the industry here, big boats and small boats alike.
Take advantage of a number of unique opportunities at the Singapore Yacht Show:
The Singapore Yacht Show is proactive in promoting the yachting lifestyle in Asia, and this is a direct result of introducing the right clients to the right businesses. The Show is laid out so that exhibitors, partners and visitors can easily navigate their way around, maximising their experience within a relaxed yet highly effective environment. Our jam-packed social calendar offers various opportunities for buyers and sellers to connect in sophisticated surroundings, both on-land and on-water, with events ranging from cocktail receptions to yacht parties, food tastings to live music.
As Asia's leading yacht show, it seemed like a natural choice to unveil our new series of yachts here. The launch of the SpaceCat at the Singapore Yacht Show, along with our decision to build these vessels in our new Chinese shipyard is a clear statement of the great potential we believe the region holds for yachting. We are confident that these new yachts will appeal to an Asian client base and are excellent for the beautiful cruising areas in this region. We very much hope to be able to premier the SpaceCat at one of the next Singapore Yacht Shows.
Multihull Solutions had a very successful Singapore Yacht Show with three yacht sales confirmed. SYS is always a must-do boat show, and once again, it didn’t disappoint!
We have been participating in the Singapore Yacht Show since its inception and have seen it go from strength to strength with each edition. We are seeing a real emergence of the South East Asian market and there is increased excitement and enthusiasm for yachting.
SYS is such an important show for us. We are very proud to represent several world-leading brands and we always do well for all of them here.
We have taken pole position ever since the show started and we’ll be back in even greater force for the 10th Anniversary edition next year!
The Asian market is hugely important for us and Amels & Damen have been active here for many years. We are seeing an increasing number of owners coming from the region, as well as more and more yachts cruising here too. We have a team based here in Asia, but we will be back at SYS again next year - hopefully with a yacht too!
We are delighted by the activity levels and results that we have achieved since we’ve started representing Azimut in Singapore. With three Azimut Yachts sold in the run-up to SYS and a further two yachts sold during the show, it is clear that there is a genuine demand for Azimut’s truly Italian yachts in the region.
